Un collectif de familles montcelliennes se bat pour qu\u2019une structure d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie s\u00e9v\u00e8re puisse voir le jour en Bourgogne <\/strong>(copyright Le Journal de S&L)<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Quelques parents d\u2019enfants \u00e9pileptiques ont pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des conseils de l\u2019association Accueil \u00e9pilepsie Grand Est, bas\u00e9e en Lorraine, r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 les structures d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie s\u00e9v\u00e8re existent, contrairement \u00e0 la Bourgogne. Trois familles du secteur montcellien sont entr\u00e9es en contact en raison d\u2019un point commun : un enfant atteint d\u2019une \u00e9pilepsie s\u00e9v\u00e8re, ce handicap lourd qui affecte notamment Dorian Cohendet, 12 ans. Et c\u2019est \u00e0 leur domicile, \u00e0 Martigny-le-Comte, que Maria Cohendet, maman de Dorian, avait invit\u00e9 hier les responsables de l\u2019Accueil Epilepsies Grand Est, association qui milite pour que les pouvoirs publics s\u2019int\u00e9ressent davantage \u00e0 cette maladie mal comprise qu\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9pilepsie.<\/p>\n

\u00ab S\u2019il existe une vingtaine de structures adapt\u00e9es aux personnes atteintes d\u2019\u00e9pilepsie s\u00e9v\u00e8re en France, aucune n\u2019est implant\u00e9e en Bourgogne Franche-Comt\u00e9 \u00bb, d\u00e9nonce Maria Cohendet, m\u00eame si des aides sont apport\u00e9es par le conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, les IME (institut m\u00e9dico-\u00e9ducatif) et CME (centre m\u00e9dico-\u00e9ducatif) locaux.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Dorian va \u00eatre accueilli bient\u00f4t aux Violettes, \u00e9tablissement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en Is\u00e8re \u00e0 300 km de Montceau, mais il devra rentrer sur l\u2019IME du Breuil chaque week-end, ce qui est impensable au plan fatigue pour l\u2019enfant d\u00e9j\u00e0 trop fragile ! \u00bb, t\u00e9moigne la maman, dont le fils est parfois en proie \u00e0 des acc\u00e8s de violence. Et la m\u00eame probl\u00e9matique pourrait se d\u00e9cliner pour les parents Beuchon-Paris (avec Sophie, 8 ans) et Lambin (avec Tr\u00e9van, 10 ans).<\/p>\n

Le soutien d’une association<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Des familles en souffrance qui ont pu compter hier sur l\u2019appui de l\u2019association bas\u00e9e en Lorraine : \u00ab Nous avons eu la chance d\u2019aboutir assez rapidement dans notre r\u00e9gion gr\u00e2ce entre autres \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension du CHU de Nancy. Nous voulons que notre savoir-faire au niveau des d\u00e9marches puisse permettre aux familles de Bourgogne de s\u2019organiser en adh\u00e9rant \u00e0 notre association, et de faire avancer leurs dossiers \u00bb, explique Philippe Tiercy, membre d\u2019Accueil Epilepsies Grand Est<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Et Maria Cohendet de conclure en pr\u00e9cisant : \u00ab Nous voulons que la probl\u00e9matique de nos enfants et leur handicap lourd soient pris en compte globalement au plan m\u00e9dical et m\u00e9dico-social, et si nous pouvions voir se mettre en place dans les \u00e9tablissements existants une section sp\u00e9cifique pour les cas d\u2019\u00e9pilepsie s\u00e9v\u00e8re avec le personnel form\u00e9, ce serait un grand pas d\u2019accompli\u2026 \u00bb<\/p>\n
